As we like to say at Puppet, too few cooks make the same broth every time. With that in mind, we are pleased to invite you into the kitchen.
As much content as possible will be shared here as ingredients in a kind of literary pantry for all to enjoy (okay enough of the cooking metaphor).
If you have made something cool – an article, a poem, a story, a drawing, painting, sculpture, even a song – we want to put it up here for all to see. Either email it to us at puppet.magazine@gmail.com or just stick it up on a comments page, and we'll make sure it gets stuck up properly.
What we also want you to do is to engage with what is put up: love something, add to it or write a spin-off; hate something, tell us why. If a piece inspires you to draw something, get it to us and we can put them side by side. Above all, keep posting on our comments pages. This website should be a launching off point for anyone who has anything they want to say.
You have all the freedom of a blog to write as much or as little, as seriously or as ridiculously as you want and be a part of a student magazine every time you submit. Of course, everything on the site will be considered for print.

Brewing
I thought there was one brewing,
Boiling over, unmanned, stewing.
No one else mown so cleanly just
Solid, scattered with pink frost
While trailing ‘others nights apart, outside,
Wary of life and words that lie beside
Empty halves and piled up pillows.
Reluctant even to come to blows.
Impaired intact divisive decision
Denied the body force of binding vision;
My right and left hung insecure
By distant doubts and architecture.
I thought there was one brewing,
Boiling over, unmanned, stewing.
Wrecked in stirred contraptions,
Careering loss in mannered factions,
Teasing status to upright reception
Of curls in permanent reflection,
All the while, noting potency.
Floating air in stocky currency
Exchanged in bed for rockets
And hope. Smiley face, brackets.
